This Privacy Policy explains how MGS Express LLC (“Kwyzi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Kwyzimobile app and website (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and, if you choose email sign-up, a password (stored only as a secure hash). If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a basic identifier and the email associated with that account.
• Study content. The notes, text, and photos of notes you upload, the questions generated from them, your quiz answers and history, and any ratings or feedback you submit on questions.
• Settings. Your notification preferences, quiet hours, and time zone.
• Support communications. Messages you send us for help or feedback.

Information collected automatically

• Push tokens & device data. A push notification token and basic device information (operating system, device model) needed to deliver quiz notifications.
• Usage & diagnostics. Limited usage and log data used to operate, secure, and improve the Service — for example which screens are opened and when a quiz is answered. Our website uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage, and the app and website use PostHog for product analytics.
• Crash & error diagnostics. When the app hits an unexpected error we record the error type and message, a technical stack trace, the screen you were on, your app version, and your device platform, so we can find and fix the fault. These reports are about the software, not about you — we do not include the contents of your notes or answers.

Subscription & purchase information

Subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed through RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status (for example, whether Kwyzi Pro is active). We do not receive or store your full payment card number.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, maintain, and operate the Service and your account.
• Turn your uploaded notes into multiple-choice study questions.
• Schedule and deliver quiz questions as push notifications at the times you choose.
• Manage subscriptions and verify entitlement to paid features.
• Respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Service.
• Maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and debug problems.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. How Questions Are Generated (AI Processing)

To create study questions, the text and images you upload are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic (the maker of Claude), which extracts the content and generates questions. This processing happens solely to provide the Service to you. We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to advertise to you.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers below, who process it on our behalf to operate the Service:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of users, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case we will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal information).

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account in the app, or by emailing us at support@kwyzi.com. Deleting your account permanently removes your account, note sets, and quiz history. We may retain limited records where required for legal, security, or accounting purposes.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Residents of the EEA/UK (GDPR) and California (CCPA/CPRA) have these rights. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. 7. Push Notifications

Quiz delivery relies on push notifications. You can turn notifications off at any time using the in-app toggle (Settings → Notifications) or your device’s system settings.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Data Transfers

We and our service providers may process and store information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

10. Children’s Privacy

Kwyzi is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
